The Center for World Austronesia and Indigenous Peoples (CWAIP) aims to enhance the visibility of the research on World Austronesia and Indigenous Peoples at NTHU and beyond ; it consolidates teaching resources,provides information exchange,and serves as a platform for local and international collaboration. CWAIP intends to gather those scholars and students who are interested in the topic and place the research outcome within the wider Pacific and southeast Asia regions for dialogue and foreground the importance of Taiwan in the area studies.
